What a busy and productive day!

Today in Math, students watched videos about chequing and savings accounts. We had a great class discussion about provincial and federal taxes and investigated a table that illustrated the percentage of taxes in different provinces and territories. All "MART" Geometry Transformation Assignments are due tomorrow. Please make sure you hand it in. For Language, students continued working on their rough outline for their formal, opinion-based letter. This letter is connected to the Farm Project and is for students to request a loan to build their farm. Some students have finished their rough outline for their letters and are now taking what they wrote and are now putting it into a proper formal letter format. This is due Monday! Today was filming day for our dance project. On Monday, we will be presenting our dance videos to the class. Please ensure you hand this in Monday morning if you are filming this weekend. After lunch, students continued working on their slideshow to showcase the different features of their Farm in Geography. Next week, students will present their Farm to "The Bank of Clark" to request the bank give them a loan and invest in their project. Students sign-ed up for their presentation day and will need to come to school dressed to impress "The Bank of Clark." Since the students worked so well today, we went to Reid Park for the last period of the day. We had a lot of fun playing as a class! Lastly, good luck to all Grade 7 students who are competing in the Jiu-Jitsu tournament today! Check out the pictures below from our fun day!
