A bit of a sleep Monday, but we got through it!
We started our first unit in Math called Patterns in Whole Numbers. Students practiced rounding numbers and multiplying by 10, 100, 100. We read our last short biography on Milton Hershey and then started working on the comprehension questions. For Gym we started our unit on Cooperative Games and reviewed safety expectations. During Science we discussed what makes an ecosystem and the relationship between living and non-living organisms. Students also had their first French class today, where they worked on an activity to describe themselves.
Homework:
Math: Finish questions 1-5 in your Math workbook on pg. 4-5.
Language: Your good copy of your Letter to Yourself is now due. All the comprehension questions about Frida Kahlo and Greta Thunberg are due.
Science: Answer questions on What is an Ecosystem? (4 questions)
French: Come up with a topic for something you want to explore during French class.
