It was a rainy, sleepy Monday, but we got through it!

Students continued to work on finding the greatest common factor (GCF) or the lowest common multiple (LCM) of two numbers in Math. For Language, students continued to interview their partner for their Classmate Biography assignment. Since we're reading the Hide and Seeker as a class, we started our first creepy art project based on the monster from the novel. Using a straw, students drip watery black paint onto a page and then blow through the straw to spread the paint like black tendrils, creating their own monster! Finally, during History we finished off our Heritage Minute videos from Historica Canada and students wrote about the significance of each video.

Homework:

Math: Finish questions 1-8 on pg. 8-10 in the Math workbook.

Language: Make sure you bring in your baby pictures by tomorrow. Students should be finishing their interviewing by tomorrow. Classmate Biography is due by the end of Wednesday, September 21.
