Happy Friday! It was a solid end to the week!

This morning during Math, students continued working on questions about finding equivalent ratios between two numbers and writing them in their simplest form. We started our new short stories unit in Language. We discussed the elements of a short story and then read The Wife's Story, by Ursula K. Leguin. The students loved the twist at the end of this story! For Gym, students practiced throwing techniques and drills with a partner. During Science, students worked on writing the procedures for our first experiment the self-sustaining bottle ecosystem. We then looked at their first take-home assignment, the Shoe Box Model Ecosystem Project. We ended the day with French, where students were finishing off the final touches for their independent projects to present in class.

Homework:

Math: Finish questions 3-5 on pg. 30 in the Math workbook.

Science: Review the take-home assignment - the Shoe Box Ecosystem Project.
