It was a busy Wednesday!
For Math this morning students learned that rate is a comparison of two quantities measured in different units. Students then learned how to express different unit rates. During Language, students were introduced to the master of macabre and mystery, Edgar Allan Poe. After watching a brief biography on the writer, we read his famous poem The Raven together as a class and discussed the mood of the poem. For Gym, students learned how to throw and catch a frisbee. They then worked on passing a frisbee to a partner and afterwards towards a target. We got to do our first examination of our Bottle Ecosystem during Science. Students then recorded their observations in their Bottle Ecosystem journal. We ended the day with French, where students played French games like Duolingo.
Today was Beach Day at Heritage.... we decided to stop for a quick class pic as well!
Homework:
Math: Finish questions 2-4 on pg. 38-39 in the Math workbook.
