Thursday was busy!
We started the day doing another Math activity where students were given a recipe for pumpkin loaf and had to change the ratios of the ingredients so that they could make more than one loaf. We spent Language looking how mood is used in the short story The Monkey's Paw. For Gym, we went to the park and played Soccer/Baseball. For Science, we finished off the David Attenborough documentary, A Life On Our Planet. We then took up the comprehension questions based on the documentary. Ended the day with a Flex period, where students either finished up any homework or made decorations for our Day of the Dead celebration.
Homework:
Math: Monster Ratio questions 1-12 are due tomorrow.
Language: Finish the Mood assignment for The Monkey's Paw.
Science: Work on the Shoebox Ecosystem assignment.
