Happy Friday! It was a great end to the week!

This morning during Math we continued our unit on Geometry and Measurement with students using square dot paper to sketch different views of a solid object. During our Language period, all of the Junior classes met in the gym for our Heritage Academy Remembrance Day Ceremony. Each grade made its own wreath of poppies that were presented during the ceremony.  After the ceremony, we went to the park for Gym and played another epic game of Ultimate Frisbee. For Science, we continued our Shoebox Ecosystem presentations. Students did a fantastic job creating and presenting the shoebox models of their ecosystems. We ended the day with French, where students continued working on creating their own restaurant and menu.

Homework:

Math: Finish questions 1-5 on pg. 46-48 in the Math workbook.

Language: Finish question 4 of the Time Stoppers activity. You are to create a dialogue between the Old Man and the Villain. Within the dialogue, the Villain must reveal why he wants to murder the Old Man. Time Stoppers is now due.

Science: Finish question about how humans impact biodiversity - pg. 21 in duo-tang or pg. 19 online.
