It was a busy Thursday for a fake Friday!

This morning students continued in Math working on finding the volume of a rectangular prism. During Language, students worked in groups on their court cases against the Villain from The Tell-Tale Heart for the Insanity Plea activity. Each group is now preparing their case for our mock trial next Tuesday. For Art, students finished their rough sketches of everyday objects important to them for our Odilon Redon charcoal assignment. After lunch for History, students learn about the changing British attitude towards the Acadians, as they bring more soldiers and settlers to build Halifax and push out the Acadians.  We finished the day with FLEX and played the ever-popular Werewolf game!

Homework:

Math: Finish questions 2-4 on pg. 63 in the Math workbook.

Language: Make sure you have found a quote from The Tell-Tale Heart and two reasons for the Insanity Plea activity.

History: Finish questions on the Changing British Attitude.
