It was a busy Wednesday!

For Math this morning, students learned how to find the volume of a rectangular prism. The formula that students learned for finding the volume of a rectangular prism is V = length x width x height. During Language, students continued to work on their court cases against the Villain from The Tell-Tale Heart for the Insanity Plea activity. Each group is now preparing their case for our mock trial next week. For Gym, students continued with their epic game of Boom City. After lunch during Science, students learned about the "carrying capacity" of an environment and how the maximum population it can support is based on the food, water, and resources available. We ended the day with a FLEX period, where students got to work on any homework.

Homework:

Math: Finish question 1 on pg. 62 in the Math workbook.

Language: Make sure you have found a quote from The Tell-Tale Heart and two reasons for the Insanity Plea activity.

History: Finish questions on the British Colony of Acadia.
