It was a busy Wednesday with an Open House also happening at Heritage.

For Math, this morning students worked on building objects from nets. Students learned that by looking at the net of a polyhedron you can find out more about its properties. For Language, students worked in their groups on the Insanity Plea activity. Each group is treating The Tell-Tale Heart as if it was a written confession and is using the document to prove whether the Villain of the story is insane. During Art, to coincide with our exploration of using charcoal, we learned about the Symbolist artist Odilon Redon and his "Noir" series of charcoal drawings, inspired by his dreams. After exploring many of his different drawings, students then sketched their favourite drawing to use for the next class.  After lunch, we continued with our Shoebox Ecosystem presentations and watched NASA launch the Artemis 1 rocket to the moon.

Homework:

Math: Finish questions 1-4 on pg. 52-54 in the Math workbook.

Language: The Police Report is now due.

History: Finish the 3 questions on the Treaty of Utrecht.
