Another busy Tuesday!
This morning during Math we took up our Math test (Mission Impossible) on Geometry and Measurement. Students corrected any questions that they got incorrect. We had our puppet shows for the Readers Theatre version of The Tell-Tale Heart. Both groups did a fantastic job designing their puppets and creating a voice for their character. Both performances were hilarious and really fun! For Gym, students continued practising different badminton drills. After lunch, we continued working on our The Fall of New France Newspaper Assignment for History. Students spent the period researching and began writing their article about the Battle of the Plains of Abraham from a French perspective. We ended the day with a FLEX period where students got to work on any unfinished assignments.
Homework:
Science: Finish questions on pg. 40 (green duo-tang) about buying locally-grown food. Students are to list the names of food products purchased for home and what country they are from.
History: Finish writing the "WHO" and the "WHAT" sections of the graphic organizer for the Fall of New France Newspaper Assignment.
