Another Monday was taken down!
We did a final review in class on geometry and measurement this morning during Math. Using their whiteboards, students answered questions about finding a prism's surface area and volume. For Language, students practised performing their play with their puppets. We filmed each performance so the students could see how they did and understand what they needed to work on. During Gym, students continued learning the fundamentals of playing badminton and practised footwork drills. They then practiced hitting their birdie over the net toward targets (hula hoops) on the ground. After lunch, during Science, we continued to learn about protecting the environment. This time we learned about Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which is a strategy used to increase the production of crops while minimizing the damages caused by pests. When ended the day with a FLEX period where students got to work on any unfinished assignments.
Homework:
Math: Study unit review for the "Mission Impossible" (Math test) tomorrow.
Language: Practice reading over the script for the Tell-Tale Heart.
Science: Finish questions on Integrated Pest Management.
