Happy Krampusnacht!

For Math this morning we started our first unit review on Geometry and Measurement. Students will be preparing for the "Mission Impossible" (Math test) next week. During Language, students broke into their groups and worked more on their character voices while they read over their scripts. Students continued in Art to work on their good copy of their Odilon Redon-inspired charcoal drawing. This is their last week to work on this art activity. After lunch, we had a very thoughtful debate during History class about the expulsion of the Acadians. The class was split into two groups where one group represented the British and the other group was the Acadians.  Using their notes on the expulsion of the Acadians, each group had to create an argument about who should have the right to occupy the lands of Acadia. We ended the day with a FLEX period, where students worked on any unfinished assignments.

Homework:

Math: Finish review questions 1-4 in the Math workbook.
