It was a wet Wednesday, but we stayed productive!
This morning during Math we started our second unit review on Geometry and Measurement. Students worked on finishing up creating their puppets and started working on a backdrop for the Reader's Theatre version of The Tell-Tale Heart. Afterwards for Art, students finished the good copy of their Odilon Redon-inspired charcoal drawing. We then started drawing rough sketches for our final charcoal assignment based on the Tom Waits song "What's He Building In There?" We had a great History class on the Seven Year's War and the battle at the Plains of Abraham. Lots of great class discussions about General James Wolfe and his strategy to capture Quebec City! We ended the day with FLEX and a body break with Just Dance!
Homework:
Math: Finish questions 1-4 of the unit review (handout).
Science: Finish questions on electric vehicles.
