It's been a fun and productive Wednesday!

We continued this morning working on our first unit review in Math. Students helped each other out with solving both fraction and decimal equations. After the first break, students worked really hard on finishing the final details for their utopia brochure. This past week, students have been creating their own personal utopia and are now putting together a tourist brochure to present. We had a lot of fun playing curling games during Gym. Students have been practising and getting ready for our mini-curling tournament tomorrow. We continued with our Factors Affecting the Rate of Dissolving experiments in Science. This time students observed how long it would take for rock salt, both clumped and crushed, to dissolve in both hot and cold water. We ended the day with a FLEX period where students got to work on any unfinished assignments.

Homework:

Math: Finish unit review questions on pg. 95-96 in the Math workbook.

Language: Finish "Quick Write" on Perfection. Utopia Project is due tomorrow.

Science: Work on Take-Home Project.
