It's been a super busy Thursday!

We started our day working on our second unit review in Math. Students had to choose and complete five questions on fractions and decimals for today. We will be having our Math test on Tuesday, March 7th. For Language, students had 20 minutes to practise and go over their Utopia brochure. We then started our presentations where students described their perfect utopia. The presentations so far were very thoughtful and the class came up with some great questions to ask the presenter about their utopia.  After Language, Heritage held a curling tournament for all the junior grades. Organized by the AMAZING Ms. P, grades 2-5 played against each other in teams and grades 6-8 played against each other in teams. It was a really fun afternoon, where students showed a lot of great teamwork! In-between games, students also finished painting their Kaijus for our Operation: Kaiju Art project and worked on writing up the background information for their giant monster sculptures. We ended the day with a FLEX period where students got to work on any unfinished assignments.

Homework:

Math: Complete 5 questions on the Fractions and Decimals Unit review (handout).

Language: Utopia Project is due. "Quick Write" on the topic of Perfection is due tomorrow.

Science: Work on Take-Home Science Project.
