Nothing but positive vibes for this Wednesday!

This morning, we continued with the introduction to our unit on Data Management in Math. Today students looked at collecting data and how to identify whether the data is primary or secondary. We also learned how to ask unbiased questions when collecting data. We read two more chapters of The Giver for our novel study. We then worked on our next Quick Write; this time the topic was about the elderly. For Gym, students continued to practise mindful meditation and learned their first yoga pose, Morning Sun Salutations. For History, we continued to learn about the Establishment of Upper Canada. Students worked in groups to answer questions about the formation of York and Bytown. We ended the day with a FLEX period where students got to work on any unfinished assignments.

Homework:

Math: Finish questions 4-6 on pg. 100 of the Math workbook. 

Language: Read chapters 3-4 of The Giver. We will be discussing both chapters in class. The Quick Write on The Old is due tomorrow. This Google Document has been emailed to you. 

Health: Your Mental Health Poster is now due. Please make sure it is handed in before the end of the week.
